An open letter to Vice President Joe Biden:

No, Mr. Vice President, The Tea Party has nothing in common with the Wall Street Protestors. Here’s how you can tell the difference.
Wall Street Protesters are being told to go out and create chaos in the streets by union organizers and college professors. They camp out in the streets because they have no place else to go, and if they leave, they leave a mess behind them.

Tea Party Members go out on their own and once they’ve said what they have to say, usually without shouting, they clean up after themselves before quietly leaving to go back home to their families.

Wall Street Protesters blame the evil bankers and rich people on Wall Street for everything bad that has ever happened to them, whether it ever happened to them or not.

Tea Party Members look for solutions to problems and not to find someone to blame for problems. They see the root cause of our current problems stemming from runaway government, misuse of taxpayer’s money, unsustainable entitlement programs, and failure of our nation to follow the guidelines set down by the country’s founders in the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution.

If you ask a Wall Street Protester what he or she stands for you get conflicting answers. They don't really have a single unified goal or reason to be out there. They will be carrying signs that send conflicting messages, or that spew hate or racism.

If you ask a Tea Party Member what he or she stands for, you will get a lesson on history, the constitution, and coherent reasons why they are at a given Tea Party rally or event. They will be carrying flags. If they have signs, they will be on a common theme, but only infiltrators carry messages of hate or racism.

Wall Street Protesters go into the streets looking to provoke the police, looking to shout messages of hate, ready for violence.

Tea Party Members get permits for their rallies, bring their families, have a good time together, frequently pray together, and always leave the area cleaner than when they arrived.

No, Mr. Vice President, The Tea Party has nothing in common with the Wall Street Protesters. If you can’t tell the difference, you haven’t been watching the news.
