ME1-26

This faded and partially damaged sandstone
fortunately had enough clues remaining so that it could be
identified using the 1847 Inscriptions from Monumental
Stones*.
In Memory of
Jane wife of Job
Brown, who departed
this life February 26th 1819
aged 62 years and 9 days.
The months of affliction are o'er,
The days and the nights of distress;
We see her in anguish no more,
She's gained her happy release.
