This sandstone "stump" of a
headstone is located to the left of headstones #35 and #34.
On the bottom of the broken stone can still be seen:
70 Year of
Because of its position relative to the other
sandstones headstones, and from the position in the Archives* of
the inscription to # 35 and #37, I believe that this is the
headstone of Benjamin Lindsley, and should read:
In Memory of Benjamin Lindsley Who Departed
this life September 3d, 1735, In the 70th Year of his Age.
