East Orange City Hall Program
A Bugle and Brass Ensemble from the East Orange Unified
Marching Band played for the guests assembled at City Hall Plaza
in East Orange, NJ. on Veterans' Day, Tuesday, November 11, 2008.
In the background is the new Cicely Tyson School of Performing
and Fine Arts which is still under construction, and which will
eventually be the new location for the Band. The Color Guard
consisted of members of the Girl Scouts.

The wreath is placed upon the roll call memorial of East
Orange residents who served their country and gave their lives
during World War II.

The audience included local veterans and many invited guests,
as well as citizens who just stopped by to pay their respects.
The veterans assembled in front of the memorial for a group
photo before being dismissed.
Guest speakers included General Mildred Evans, U.S. Army;
Lieutenant Colonel Frank Taylor, U.S. Army; and 1st Lieutenant
Henry B. Daniels, U.S. Army.
